Why Choose Harry Moore Church Funeral Plan?
On the escalating cost of funeral service...
The cost of funeral service to the consumer has increased significantly in the last decade due to the consolidation of funeral businesses and the overbuilding of funeral homes by individual owners. Large public companies paid exorbitant prices for funeral homes and were expected by Wall Street to produce hefty profits. Who provides those hefty profits? The families we serve!
Although many consumers are looking for modest prices for funerals, many independent owners are building multi-million dollar funeral homes with lavish furniture and fixtures. Who pays for those funeral "palaces"? The families they serve!
Americans believe in funerals but want better value...
This is not a new idea, just and old idea whose time has come around again. Seventy-five years ago, visitations and funerals were held in the church or the home. The funeral home was a modest facility from which the funeral director arranged funerals. By keeping the overhead low, the funeral director was able to offer attentive service at modest prices.
Now, the Harry Moore Church Funeral PlanTM is bringing funeral service full circle, renewing old and sensible traditions. You shouldn't have to pay for the use of lavish funeral home facilities if you don't use them and the Harry Moore Church Funeral PlanTM offers you that option.
A funeral is an important social event in the Christian community.
A christian funeral is a celebration of life and a ceremony to recognize the passing of the soul to be with God. This passage is one of the most significant events in the life of a Christian.
Most major events in our Christian society are celebrated in the church. Dedications, baptisms, confirmations and weddings occur in the church, so why is our funeral conducted at a home home?
